Checking the PNR status of your flight is important, as it gives you the real-time status of your booking, whether it’s delayed, on time, or canceled. So, to avoid any sort of inconvenience, it is necessary to check the flight PNR status of your air ticket.

You can check the PNR status of the flight with the help of the allotted booking reference number or PNR number. It is quite simple; all you need to do is go to the official website of the airline from which you have booked your ticket. Browse the website until you get the manage booking or flight ticket status enquiry page. Once you find the webpage you are browsing for, just look for the PNR enquiry section. There you will see the text boxes in which you need to fill in all the mandatory details asked, such as booking reference (PNR or ticket number), first and last name, and email address. After filling in the details, click on the Get Itinerary/Email Itinerary/Retrieve Booking button. Now, wait for a few seconds until the real-time status of your flight booking is displayed on your device screen. You will get details like booking status and present status, flight schedule, delayed or on time, etc.

A PNR, or booking reference number, is an extremely important part of an airline ticket. It’s an alphanumeric code that is generated to store the data of travelers in the airlines' database. It facilitates the exchange of traveler data with other airlines in case a flyer travels with multiple airlines and switches flights to reach his destination.
