About Gulf Air

Gulf Air was started in the 1940s as an air taxi service to Doha and Dhahran from Bahrain. In 1973, Gulf Air started its services to the Kingdom of Bahrain, State of Qatar, Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the Sultanate of Oman, and became the national carrier for the Persian Gulf.
